I think my year of teaching high school German makes me appreciate this one!!! I saw this on someone's blog and had to make it my own. I mean we all know this joke and have for years, but the younger generation is bringing it back in full force.I think the best part is how seriously the teacher took it. What do you think works better for high school kids.... Kid says something inappropriate to get attention and teacher freaks out and gives them the attention, or teacher keeps things rolling and kid realizes it wasn't that funny after all? In my experience, the hardest part is not laughing (because high schoolers are pretty freakin' funny!!)
